Federal Way gets it name from Federal Highway 99 (now Pacific Highway South) that runs mostly parallel to I-5.  It is about half way between Seattle and Tacoma. Local and national businesses provide goods and services to over 33,000 households.   The City of Federal Way’s website provides great information you need living or working within the city in just a few clicks.

There are three areas we’re actively involved in the Federal Way community.  First is FUSION, an organization that supplies housing for homeless women and children.  The organization now owns 18 units and we raise the money for the utilities, furnishings and upkeep for the families.  Each year our office creates and pays for 18 Holiday gifts baskets with food and a gift card for their Christmas dinner. Second, we participate in Relay For Life Federal Way and host 2 crab feed events as fundraisers. (Two of our REALTORS  were on the original Relay for Life team started in Tacoma at Stadium High School.) Third is the national Prudential Global Volunteer Day where we collect food and cash to donate to the Federal Way food bank – you will see us at local grocery stores at the beginning of each October.

Look for the sign in front of our building to see what’s happening now.  You can also find out about what’s going on around the greater Seattle/Tacoma area by following us online at Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.  Don’t forget, check our blog to see what’s happening each weekend around Seattle.
